Medical Plan Options Are Changing for 2026: This means that all employees must make benefit elections during the enrollment period (October 1 – October 31, 2025) in order to have coverage through CPC in 2026.
About Your Supplemental/Voluntary Benefits: Your current Supplemental/Voluntary Benefit elections from 2025 will remain intact. However, you will be given the opportunity to make any changes to your Supplemental/Voluntary Benefits during the online open enrollment process.

What’s New for 2026
New Value-Driven Health Plan Option
Health care can be complicated and costly for everyone. That’s why CPC is introducing a new additional benefit plan option alongside the traditional PPO Medical Plan. The new option is called the Value-Driven Health Plan (VDHP).
The VDHP Medical Plan, (sometimes referred to as a reference-based pricing plan), is designed to give you more control, more transparency, and often more savings. With no deductibles and no network restrictions, you’ll pay simple, predictable copays—so you know your costs up front.
This plan uses Medicare pricing (plus a negotiated percentage) to establish fair rates for medical services, creating a solution that’s mutually beneficial for you and your providers. In many cases, members enjoy lower out-of-pocket costs and greater flexibility when choosing where to receive care.
The VDHP Medical Plan does not limit you to a network of health care facilities or physicians, so you can choose freely from multiple licensed health care providers in your area without incurring “out-of-network” penalties.
Most importantly, you decide which of these two CPC Benefit Plans works best for your needs, your family, and your budget—and CPC is here to help answer any questions, (800) 941-7089.
Working Covered Spouse Premium
Beginning in 2026, employees who enroll a spouse in a CPC medical plan will incur an additional premium if the spouse has access to other credible health care coverage (e.g., through their own employer’s plan, not CPC). This additional premium is designed to encourage the use of alternative coverage options when available, helping to manage rising health care costs for CPC and all employees.
The two benefit plan enrollment options available for an employee with a working covered spouse under either the VDHP Medical Plan or PPO Medical Plan are:
- Employee plus Working Covered Spouse; and
- Family with Working Covered Spouse.
No additional premium will apply to a spouse who does not have access to other credible coverage.
If your enrolled spouse does not work or works for an employer that does not offer credible health care coverage, then you may select the regular Employee plus Spouse or Family coverage options.
The Company will audit enrollment elections to verify compliance with this policy. If an enrolled spouse is found to have other credible coverage but a Working Covered Spouse plan benefit option was not elected, this may be considered insurance fraud and consequences may include denial of claims and termination of employment.
Note: The descriptions of benefits in this guide are not guarantees of current or future employment or benefits. If there is any conflict between this Guide and the official Plan Documents, the official documents will govern.
